I've Done Harder Things

It was 94 days ago I first submitted my application and just crossed my fingers it would all come together. Tomorrow it all comes to life...and right now it all feels magical.

I've invested over 240 hours and 230 miles in training, prepped, packed, completed tons of paperwork. I could not be more ready for this!

Ready to take on 17 days, 10,000 ft of elevation gain and over 32,000 ft gross elevation change, 80+ miles...all on these feet that just don't stop.

Today I'm appreciating the journey that led me here and in many ways find it almost ironic that it puts me facing the biggest mountain on our planet. Literally laughed out loud typing that and words from a wise friend of mine will come back into my head over and over again on this trip: You've done harder things.

Get ready, folks, Everest is right around the corner and I can't wait to share it all with you!

About once a year I like to take a solo trip. Time to myself to reset, recenter, and make sure I'm keeping these two feet that don't...
